Book Matt Green to Speak
Matt Green is the Chief Clinical Officer and Clinical Director at Sameem Behavioral Health, an outpatient clinic in the Boston area licensed by the Massachusetts State Department of Public Health to treat both mental health and substance abuse patients.
Matt has testified before Congress and the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Drug and Alcohol Abuse.
He has prepared case presentations at conferences sponsored by the NFL, presented to NFL Rookies (first-year players) as part of their orientation to the league, and worked as a treating clinician for the NFL Program for Substances of Abuse for 17 years.
Matt’s Advice Reaches a Global Audience
Matt’s work took him to the Caribbean Island of St. Martin in the early 1990s to help open a treatment center on the island, as well as consult with government officials there.
From 1992 to 1994, Matt was hired to give seminars to Boston Police Department cadets, daily patrol officers, and special unit gang officers on their drug and alcohol policies.
Over the years, Matt has also consulted for HBO specials on “Kids, Parents and Drugs,” hosted by Mary Tyler Moore, and has been interviewed by several major newspapers across the country.
Current Work
Matt continues to support his local Boston community as an experienced therapist in the condition of addiction. He also treats, monitors, and administers urine toxicology screens for Physician Health Services, a program of the Massachusetts Medical Society treating Impaired Physicians.
